Criteria

  • Your business venture belongs in the Technostarter category. That means:
    1. The products, processes or services – no consultancy services! – that you sell or are going to sell, are based on new technical findings or new applications of existing technologies;
    2. Your company has been registered in the (Dutch) chamber of commerce registry for less than 5 years;
    3. You are a starter in fiscal terms and/or your are a small & medium size business;
  • Your company has a sustainable solution, preferably in one of the following fields of: Water, Sustainable Energy or Bio Agriculture;
  • Start Green is looking for commercially strong propositions with excellent prospects for high returns. Your product and/or service clearly fulfills a prevalent market need and is distinct and competitive vis-à-vis your competition;
  • Start Green employs market-conform criteria for IRR; our demands in terms of yield naturally depend on the risk profile of the participation, the nature of our investment and the phase the business is in;
  • The minimal investment per participation is €100.000 and the maximum investment per participation is € 1.500.000;
  • Start Green requires a degree of control in the business/enterprise and without exception obtains the right to appoint a member of the Board of Supervisory Directors;
  • Start Green strives to hold its participations for no less than 4 and no more than 6 years;
