Energiefonds Overijssel achieves strong results in the first half of 2025

In the first half of 2025, Energiefonds Overijssel – one of the funds managed by StartGreen Capital – once again demonstrated how sustainable investments create tangible impact for the province, entrepreneurs and residents.

With a portfolio of €297 million, the fund invests in energy saving, renewable generation, circular projects, and energy infrastructure.

The impact results speak for themselves:

• In the first half of 2025, €19 million in new funding provided (Total from fund inception: €417 million, distributed across 218 financings).
• Avoided CO₂ emissions (year-to-date in 2025): 19,358 tonnes (expected total CO₂ reduction: 407,003 tonnes)
• Funded projects supply the energy consumption for more than 184,000 households
• Nearly 2,400 temporary and 212 structural jobs are created or maintained.
